Who are we really?
Gerenuk Designs offers affordable graphic design services for businesses and individuals. That tells you what we do, but it doesn’t tell you who we are.
We are a family-owned and -operated business, and we have a few guiding principles.

- We love pet rescue, being outside, and all things wildlife.
A gere-what?
A gerenuk is a medium-sized African antelope. Their backs are reddish-brown and lighten to tan on their sides.
In many ways, gerenuk look like other antelope. They have long legs and level backs and are built for speed. Unlike other antelope, who graze on grass, gerenuk have special lumbar vertebrae that allow them to stand straight up on their back legs to reach tree leaves. Thanks to this and a few other adaptations, gerenuk are the only antelope with this ability.
What does this have to do with design?
David Attenborough once said, “There are some four million different kinds of animals and plants in the world. Four million different solutions to the problems of staying alive.”
Just as there are multiple solutions to survival problems, there are multiple solutions to design problems. The trick is finding the solution that sets you apart, the one that gives you an edge. Finding the gerenuk among the antelope, if you will.
