At Gerenuk Designs, we have strong opinions about what working with a graphic designer should be like. We know we’re not old friends, but we think the experience should come as close as possible to that catching-up-with-an-old-friend feeling. We want to achieve the same no-stress get-together, but instead of talking about your recent vacation or how the kids are doing, we’re discussing your thoughts and questions about a design project.
How are we going to make that happen? First, we’ll meet you where you are.
To get started on a project, we like to meet with the client to discuss project details and get a feel for what you have in mind. When we say “meet you where you are,” we mean we’ll do our best to have that meeting at a time and place that’s convenient and comfortable for you. We can meet in person or virtually. We can meet outside of regular business hours. If there’s a way to make things more convenient or less stressful for you, we want to know about it.
Second, you won’t have to guess what’s going on. We’re going to explain everything. If you receive multiple files, we’ll explain the purpose of each one. If we recommend a product, change, etc., we’ll explain why. We also encourage questions and offer judgment-free answers. We firmly believe there are no stupid questions.
The final product is important to us, but your experience matters just as much. Working with a designer shouldn’t be intimidating. It shouldn’t be confusing. It shouldn’t be inconvenient. So, let’s be friends! Contact us today.
